There was a special event at our grocery store where they butchered a whole, fresh tuna fish. I didn't know this event was happening, but fortunately stumbled upon it close to being complete. The customers were nuts fighting over the best cuts. The choicest pieces are the most fatty, but I prefer the leaner portions, so I was able to get a nice fillet. The head was the last piece to be sectioned off, and I saw one woman purchase both eye balls. I cooked it simply by searing with some crushed peppercorns. It was amazing!
In September 2007, my husband, Erik, and I moved to Hong Kong. This blog lets our friends and family know what were're doing. Anyone who stumbles on it is welcome to follow along! I am trying to show a small glimpse into our lives and into the Hong Kong lifestyle. We love this city!
